A French Drain is a trench dug around the perimeter of your basement floor. It captures water before it floods your floor and directs it to a sump pump.

Do you seal from the inside or outside?

We offer both. 'Foundation' tier is interior negative-side sealing. 'Signature' tier involves exterior excavation for positive-side waterproofing (the most effective method).

Does Thoroseal really work?

Yes, for minor moisture. Thoroseal is a cement-based coating that bonds with masonry to block dampness. However, for active flowing leaks, you need a drainage system.

Does this include mold removal?

We scrub and treat accessible surface mold on masonry. If the mold is behind drywall, we recommend a remediation specialist first.

Do I need a French Drain?

If you have puddles on your floor after heavy rain, yes. Sealing the walls won't stop water coming up from the ground pressure.

How messy is it?

Jackhammering concrete creates dust. We use heavy plastic containment zones and exhaust fans to keep the rest of your house clean.
